Well his current market value is supposedly £17M so you can expect them to want £51M..............

A moron influenced by the media - like a lot of other players. It's amazing what a little checking could have done if he could have been bothered.

Trippier wasn't good enough for us, so we're going to spend a fortune on someone who's rapidly becoming his stand in.

By simply changing the colour of his shirt he goes from tricky forward that defenders struggle to deal with to a player that goes down under minimal contact, or in other words a diving cheat.

Must be that we're making our shirts the wrong way. We only have ourselves to blame.

It's Nike's fault.

Anyway, Walker. He'd bring much needed pace & Englishness to the team.

I know "Englishness" might be desirable for sundry reasons but we're losing an Argentinian Iron Man, so I wouldn't mind bringing in a few more, granite hard, Argentinian defenders to replace him and who wouldn't think twice about hoofing an opponent into 'Row Z', where necessary.

(Just don't say anything about Otamendi though.........   )

This summer's transfer window is going to be very interesting.

We need a large influx of players to rebuild and regenerate the squad, Chelsea also will be having some sort of turnover of personnel and the Scum will be splashing the cash to try and regain lost ground and reputation in the PL.

Arsenic Whinger supposedly has a shopping list of players he wants to bring in and (purportedly) is preparing to spend big to achieve this, Liverpool will want to strengthen their squad, especially if they get into the Champs League and, although Spurs have their new stadium on their minds, they might feel the need to bring in one or two extra bodies as well.

We don't know how Everton's new found wealth will manifest itself and the newly promoted Bar Codes may have spending plans of their own.

All in all, it would seem that there's going to be some ruthless and vicious competition to sign the best players and the overall transfer spending, in this country alone this summer, could dwarf previous records.

I just hope we manage to bring in the numbers and the quality we need, as it certainly isn't going to be straight forward or easy for us.

I don't think it's going to be as tough for us as you think, Neverton and barcodes will definitely not affect any of our plans regardless of any cash they attempt to throw at it. Possibly the same will go for gooners if they end in Europa and without Sanchez which is looking more likely by the minute.

Spuds, if they fend off attention for their key players won't need a great deal.

So that leaves chelski and the rags, the latter could be without any European football which if it happens is reportedly going to cost them £50m!

The calibre of player we are after, our competition will be PSG, the Spanish 2 and maybe Juve, Bayern......

Still be tough though...
