That's an interesting side Manfred.

I dread to think what it would cost to assemble such a collection of players, FFP considerations aside, but I wonder how many of them we could realistically get ??

Have I unwittingly morphed into an Austrian drummer MC?

I was thinking more of Mr Manfred's 'Earth Band' connection being 'Blinded by the Light' JC.

It's a real Joybringer but I should have been more specific

I could never understand the next line after that :)

But how can you miss the crystal clear

I could never work out that line myself JC, as well as most of the remaining lyrics so, after all these years, I've just Googled them for a translation and, surprise, surprise they seem at first glance to be a load of gibberish.

I could be doing them a grave disservice, but I wish I was partaking of what they must have been enjoying when these words were being crafted.

It's very easy to say that now.

A lot of skeptics raised the same point, and even the supporters of the signing (me included) had this in the back of their minds.

Let's see how he does when he comes back before labeling it a disaster.

On the other hand, he could try his hand in Spanish football; after all, some real duffers from this country have chanced it there recently and he couldn't do any worse than they, could he ??

Having mused over all that, you could say 'who the deuce cares' ??

Watford is a good shout. Southampton as well I wonder since their fans are not too keen on Puel.

I think only one of his knees was dislocated but Gundo's injury history runs for two pages on here - unusual for someone of his age

Yes, you are right. It was that he had two serious injuries, the dislocated kneecap and a back injury which caused some concern.

According to this, both us and Bayern have made offers for Sanchez, both deals are ok, now it's up to the player.
It seems Sanchez prefers us, his agent is pushing for the German rags.

It would be a great signing. Excellent right back and defensive midfielder.

For my money, we've needed a 'proper' defensive midfielder for some time.

I hope, inverted full backs aside, that's where Pep intends to play him.

Dippers supposedly in for Clichy. Don't know where that would leave Milner

They'll be ousting him from his favoured left back slot to fill in, when required, in central midfield.

Can't see him standing for that, for very long :? :?

Edit: just seen your post PB. You beat me to it so please ignore mine.

His sad face after the last game was great... mumbling about how finishing 4th was a step closer for them to win a trophy, then adding this is why he came to the dippers.

Found this online from the 1894 Group.
Hope it's ok to put it up here.

They asked Yaya is he staying. seems he would like to finish his playing days here.

Matt Lawton of the Mail has a story that Allardyce has quit Palace after a meeting with the Chairman. Not satisfied with transfer budget? Quite a shock.
