can only be Mbappe or Neymar if it happens
Crikey JC, I would love taking a possible risk on Mbappe but Neymar is a different kettle of fish altogether. Phew; that really is an earth shattering, mouth watering proposition .........and he might even cost more than Pogba !!??
Can we realistically afford him, given the ever lurking presence and possible renaissance of FFP ?? On the other hand, would it be typical of us to be going for both ??
I don't think I'll be feeling like sleeping tonight now.
There isn't a player on the planet who we can't afford
Freshie, I'm not trying to start a row, and what you say is true, but that comment came over very raggish.
Or is it just me?
Raggish? Nice one
I was merely stating a fact
Both right here for me. As a statement of fact, it is absolutely true - ish!
If you look at the best player in the world in every position and gave them an average transfer fee of 60/70 million, we wouldn't be able to go out and buy the lot in one go as under Financial foul Play, we wouldn't be able.
Even we have monetary restrictions!
In times gone by, Unit$d had way more money than us and in principle, it never really upset me. What did annoy me though was the attitude that came with it, that because they were richer, they felt they were better than us. Now that we have the money, I hope I never get accused of that attitude.
We ARE better than unit$d - but it is nothing to do with money.
