I like the signing of Bernardo Silva. I've seen this Ederson feller few times and he seems bit of midget ( I wonder how tall he is) and not very sure on the ball but seems to have fine reflexes. He has to be better than Bravo by default.

Benjamin Mendy worries me. Yet another fullback who can't defend.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Ederson is here and will sign today or tomorrow.
Fabinho is not on the current list. He isn't aware of a DM that we are in for as Yaya will be announced this week.
Mendy and Walker are very advanced and he is confident City will get them soon. Mendy possibly by the weekend.
Further off but still saying City are confident that they are in the driving seat, is Alexis sanchez, who wants to work with Pep.
Arsenal would prefer to sell to Bayern obviously, but he thinks City will win here.

He's online answering questions as they come up. He says Bonnucci is also a player we have expressed interest in but wait to see what happens in the CL.

So a whole lot of speculation there. I don't know how trustworthy he is.

Agree with that Wooders mate, but date of birth disease coupled with a lot of games might take its toll. We certainly need more quality depth there.

Id argue its our most important position, if we go into the new season with the same options as last year in centre mid we will be cut open by teams esp big teams. We cant rely on mid 30s fern2 and yaya, we need a big signing here or we are asking for a trouble. A young Gareth barry be perfect.

Annoying Ederson announcement has slipped a day but it's all done. I'm sure he'd like to have his future sorted and go off on holiday.

Yes seen this from several decent sources on twitter even claiming it will be as late as august if the deal goes through as Arsenal and Wenger holding out / digging in . Also reports that City have pulled out of any potential deal over Kyle Walker ?
Not really here

We don't need Sanchez.
Walker ain't going to come cheap.. hopefully we tell both of them to stick it.

Our very biggest problem is really scoring goals, or rather missing them.

Sanchez scores goals

Fern 2 must go. He is simply not good enough for the Prem, never mind a top side. Absolute fucking rubbish.

Yaya must stay. We are still nowhere near replacing him and it was one of Guariola's big mistakes to ostracise him. Costly.

And Gundogan

Think these two might be why we don't sign Fabinho.

Although these dumb William Carvalho rumors wont go away

We absolutely need another central midfielder, that was obvious this season.
We can not go into next season with the current crop.
Who knows what Gundo will do.
Yaya played half a season and is slowing up are we really going to rely heavily on him in 17-18?
That leaves the other two and one of them wouldn't get a kick at Stoke.

Is that talo enough? I suppose it is. I prefer tall keepers but if he is athletic enough he will cover for it. Just looks small.

Same height as Lev Yashin fwiw. From the clips I've seen he looks quite dominant, not afraid to put himself about, seems quite strong too.

Fingers crossed he works out and here's hoping he gets a better welcome than Bravo.

Milners got some competition for the left back slot. Clichy!

Dippers finally manage to crawl into the CL places and their ambition is a washed up player not now good enough at that level. Hilarious
