I think it's brilliant. He is a big strong lad but there are loads like that out there. Well done Southampton once again. He is not worth 20m so I am glad we are not in for him

20M is a bargain these days, which is why the offer for Roberts is derisory

I could still see us going for Mendy though, not sure what fee Bertrand would command, but with a shortage of full backs at the club currently I could see us picking up more than one signing in this position, plus it takes the pressure off as we aren't 'desperate' to sign a full back so improves our bargaining position.
