Pretty bad, but honestly, none of your defense is up to much.
Thought the keeper pushed both initial saves back out to the six yard area where he might have pushed them wide.
Might be a bit harsh for the second, but still.
It's a decent game though. Some decent young players on show. Pity about Bendy Mendy.

Problem is, once they've stopped the match and taken the piss looking at a replay, they're probably embarrassed to go back and say "actually it was a decent tackle" so just throw a red out.

When will there be video replays on video replay decisions?

Should be able to listen in to what they are saying when making decisions like in cricket

If the video reffing is going to be like that from now on then if it comes in the game is fucked.

Lallana on for Trippier and we go behind - no connection obviously

I just wish that inept and clueless English managers, in charge of the National team, would stop trying to prove otherwise and trying to show that they possess some sort of tactical acumen where none exists.

They should stop trying to emulate footballing teams and, instead, base their game on Mourhino lines with a doctrine of parking the bus and hoping for some stroke of luck from a set piece, to grind out a 1-0 victory.

It would be awful to watch but, at least, it would be a simplistic and honest approach and, moreover, it would avoid the embarrassment of fans having to suffer the 'delusions of adequacy' brigade.

Tony Pulis would fit this role perfectly and have the added benefit of removing him from the Premier League.

Southgate is yet another embodiment of mediocrity and as such perfectly suited to our international ambitions.

Trouble is JC, our international ambitions are stratospherically beyond our pettyfogging capabilities.

We need a healthy dose of realism injecting into our football's blood stream.
