Nothing in that, no malice.

Agree about Vinny Otamendi partnership. They were very good for the final run of games. More of the same next season would be good to see.

Gabriel Jesus on Otamendi injuring him: "It was unintentional. There was no malice on (Otamendi’s) part. He’s a good guy."

Gabriel Jesus: "Otamendi sent me a message in the locker room. In the game it’s normal to have these incidents, and it was not wickedness."

Gabriel Jesus: "I still don’t know the gravity, but it’s nothing too serious and nothing to worry about too much."

OS have just shared his tweet and FB saying no surgery needed and he will be 'back' in 3 weeks, so pretty much a full pre-season :D

After the nice article in the NTtimes about Gundo, the Guardian has followed up with a great long form article about Gabby:

I think it's possible to marvel at what Jesus has overcome and accomplished without bringing any rags into it. I don't know if you read the article - but I'd highly recommend you do

Look at the pictures where he grew up and the pitch he played on just a few years ago, then compare it to where he is now. Much like Nacho's story, very humbling and awe inspiring at what some people can make for themselves with very little to start with.

I read the article from end to end thanks; I was impressed by his background. I did not feel the need to add to it.

My reference to Rashford was sarcastic, driven by the parallel thread where Talkshite held him up as successor to Messi et al while ignoring Gabriel. The article clearly shows that Jesus has already overcome far more than Marcus ever will.

Great article. The kid certainly has desire and hunger. Two attributes in a young player that are crucial. He will be a megastar in four years

Apparently he needs 4-5 weeks rest then he can start training again. Should be ready to start a game by mid March with a bit of luck

No he can‘t , when not getting any treatment or rehab , he should be at the training sessions watching what‘s going on !
