Looks like Bravo can't get a starting place even at his national team.

He's still injured

He was on the bench last night. With Romania also last Tuesday.

Maybe they are resting him.

Maybe.

He was a fantastic player, but we need young good players and after the precedent with Maicon, I would rather look somewhere else.

I'd agree, unless the plan is to have a young understudy to Alves, who looks to have the qualities required, but is a couple of years off his best.

I can confirm you he was. He did not play but was here. Trained with Herrera and Toselli- the other two gk before the game started.

Of course he was there PP, it's a warm up for the Confederations Cup and he's their captain.

He wasn't named on the bench because he wasn't fit.

It's like saying Kompany was on our bench last season when he attended our games whilst injured.

I undestand what you are saying, I am just pointing out he sat on the bench with them and trained at the pregame warm up. He indeed was not listed with their reserves, but he sat there and not in the stands.

SSN breaking news is we are preparing a bid for Aubameyang. Quiet news day perhaps?

Yes please. Aguero is overrated.

Only joking Sergio. But yes please Aubameyang.

Surely that would signal the end of our interest in Sanchez. Who was a 'done deal' there a few weeks ago.

Given a choice between Aubameyang and Sanchez, who would you rather go for. Can't see us going for both of them unless Aguero is off, which I can't see happening. Both proven goalscorers who have pace to burn and can play across the front three. Aubameyang has the disadvantage of being African so we'd lose him for the ACONS but he is younger than Sanchez. But Sanchez is probably the more rounded forward in that he could also play as a number 10.

Think it's more likely we could get Aubameyang as I can't see the Arsenal willingly selling us Sanchez

I'd go for Aubemayang. Younger and quicker and more of a forward than Sanchez from what I've seen. SSN did run this story at the same time last year so we'll see what happens.

Nail on the head NB, Whinger will do his best for that not to happen, yes we've had players off them before but Sanchez is different, the others we've were arguably easier to replace?

Whilst Sanchez would be nice, if we were to get him it'll be last knockings of the window as Whinger knows it would happen he certainly won't let him come 1st July and have a full pre-season.

The other feller whom I have ask my lad to pronounce his name I don't know much about, but apparently he's the dogs danglies on FIFA, according to said 13yr old

Alice's is not Maicon, until the final he was phenomenal in the CL in a defence that barely let a goal in and was often the best attacker. I work with a Barca fan (a proper one who lived there) and he would have him back in a flash. It's true he might struggle to play 50 games, but we still have plenty of time to get someone we can rotate him with.
