listen he is here for the money, we need full backs, fuck it. Just wish City just splashed it without poncing about. Southampton have the best centre half outside the two at Spurs get him in asap, we get a leader to take over from Vinny at some point and like Stones he is here for years if he does the biz.

You either pay the price or you don't get the players you want.

Nice to see the old traditions carrying on. - slagging off a player before he puts a shirt on

We spent a similar amount on Stones who was largely crap at Everton and continued his form last season with us.

At least Walker has turned at a top player at Spurs. The fee is crazy but is reasonable considering what we paid for Stones.

Prices this summer are huge everywhere - Lukaku for 75m, Sigurdsson possibly for 50m. We're far from the only ones doing it.

They'd likely leave it. Arse wouldn't sell us Bellerin either.

Just been checking some Spurs Fans Forum and they're not a happy bunch right now.

Most seem to be consoling themselves with the transfer fee their getting.

At the point of your post literally no person on this thread has slagged the player off..

People are allowed to feel disappointed we've had to pay so much for a player.

Sky make so much off our fees. Fuck all about Lukaku of course.

When you take into account the wages coming off the books, in this world of amortisation this transfer will make a dent of about £10m in the year's accounts.

Most expensive defender ever? Sigh.

Is that 3 windows in a row now that we've made someone the most expensive defender ever?

Why does it bother you?

Does he improve us? That's the only thing that matters.
