That seems to be that for full backs with Danilo providing cover at left and right back. Looks like a Centre Back plus Sanchez or AN Other will complete our window. Would have loved Weigl from Borussia but I'm being greedy. 6 foot 2 and so gifted. Could replace Yaya next season perhaps if he hasn't been snapped up by then.

Pretty flipping excited for Mendy! I went to bed last night as he was about to depart and woke up to news of his arriving at LAX! This year is looking kinda promising. Now if we can nail down Sanchez...

I wouldn't get too excited mate. Hopefully better than Clichy but no Roberto Carlos, Alves ot Maicon (when he could play). We have to pay the money and I wouldn't argue with that - what choice have we? But steady on the expectation - we have a left back.

Oh I think certainly better than Clichy! On a pure stats breakdown they're very similar, except he's more of a play-maker with 8 assists, most in Ligue 1, to Clichy's goose egg. Then again he also gets more cards, but I'm assuming that's feistiness & passion! He's bigger, he's bulkier, he makes his presence known on the field with MotM 5 times to Gaël's 0...he feels a bit like a junior Yaya!

Prices are what they are, the inflation in pay is alarming sometimes but seems to be a solid trend so might as well not worry. Hey, it's not my money!
