I think Lewis's regular 'outings' are integral to the wellbeing of this site. Homosexuality is a strong sign of Communist sympathies.

I mean why else mention that he enjoys a pint? You never read stuff like 'he prefers coffee to tea, grows his own potatoes and plays squash at weekends, but he never deserved anything like this' do you?
Why must any news "thought" to come from Norn Iron be linked to sectarian shit. First up, read the article. The shooting happened in Dublin, so the religous angle is extremely unlikely.
There are some hardcore gangs in Dublin, often linked to drugs and organised crime. My guess is the guy said the wrong thing to the wrong fella and savage punishment resulted. Probably after the game but nothing at all to do with it.
But then listen to me turning every violent Dublin story into an organised crime story.
City are coming to get you!

Football violence is nothing like what I remember as a kid, it simply wasnt safe back in the 70's/early 80's, now you dont really feel too threatened going to a match

Yeah I expected someone to say as much to be honest, and I appreciate the point. But still, United do have strong catholic links, and loads of Irish fans. You used to see rangers/city hats and celtic/united hats, so it's not a big leap to make the suggestion IMO.
Must admit I did think it was in Belfast, and I read the article! In my defence i was rewatching the second half of the derby in between times and basically demand immunity to criticism on those grounds! Cheers in advance!

It means Lewis that we all know you are gay. Now get over to the Man Crush thread and let us know who you fancy.

Are you going Wednesday? If you are, when we walk out of there after beating them you may feel a tad different.
