Excellent read Doug.
Shame Twosips doesn't contribute directly in here anymore.
I find those ideas very encouraging.

Not a happy result in the smoke but I suppose with the likes of Wilshere turning out for them the lads did well.

Not seen much more than brief highlights but Wilson did charge in like a man possessed and i don't think it was a surprise he got a red.

No harm getting the young lads used to playing with a man down.
If they ever make the PL it's what to expect.

Heard that since.
Point about playing with ten men still stands.

2-2. Leicester have had two shots on target and scored twice. Sound familiar?

Not watching it MC, but it usually has as much to do with playing ourselves into trouble and poor defensive play, rather than poor goal keeping.

Poor result 2.2 when we largely dominated the game. 1 up with a good goal from Gonzalez running onto a nice pass from Garre. Their penalty equaliser seemed very soft. Although the ref was right up with play I thought their guy was stumbling and falling anyway when Matt Smith apparently fouled him.
Diaz was fuming with the ref before they got the pen and I wasnt sure why. Either the free kick was taken well away from where it should have been or it was a moving ball or something. The ref though a total incompetent idiot. Twice off side was given ( looked weird anyway but who knows) and both times he allowed the free kick to be taken from inside City's own half!! for one of them I am sure he told them to yake it from the wrong place. Only by about 15 yards but who cares.
2 or 3 rimes also we were given fouls just after our player had broken away and looking dangerous. Absoluyely crap but good experience for the young lads getting used to what they can expect.
So we get back ahead when one of Brahim's great runs across goal , pass to Foden, moved on immediately to Garre who scored with a first time shot. Nice goal even if keeper should have done better. We should have won from there as we had enough very promising situations but then a schoolboy error from Francis gifted them a goal. He tried to sheperd a ball out over on the wing and failed and they just broke and scored. Good initial save by Muric but the follow up was a goal.
Brahim was a highlight and a real threat but he must learn to release the ball at the right times. Foden was quite quiet, Gundo feeling his way but ok . I reckon a few more weeks before he will be ready as he looked like he was carrying a bit to me. disappointment to me was Garre which is a bit strange as he scored and assisted but overall I am very underwhelmed by him

Smith's yellow and Wilshere's and Wilson's reds. Wilson was the #5 setting about Wilshere.

Liverpool are such an odious club. Their own TV game coverage is nauseatingly self-centred.
Seems that 25yo Danny Ings was playing for the u23s (again, 4th time in the 4 games so far this season) but, haha, he got injured and is off.
He wasn't on the physioroom injury list so is he just out of favour with Klopp?
