Motty to retire from the BBC at the end of the season. So many of their pundits could learn a lot from him still.

True. A lot more of them should retire.

Even better if they were to be sacked.

I saw a headline somewhere on the Internet (can't remember where just now) which read that the Scum are surrounding their Carrington training complex with a "wall of steel".

I couldn't be fussed to read what it was all about but I figured it must be some sort of modern day Iron Curtain/Berlin Wall, designed not to keep outsiders from getting in, but rather to stop the Scum players trying to escape from the monotony of Mourhino's football.

I don't think that's what NB had in mind, but that's a better idea.

BBC North West just showed the La Liga President interview in Spanish with a verbatim translation of his lies about City. He is not challenged on camera at all and when they go back to the studio the 'sports presenter' just uncritically recites the rubbish again - from the most corrupt league in Europe - and then repeats the libel that Manchester United and Real Madrid are proper football clubs unlike Man City & PSG. We pay our license fees for this disgraceful pandering to what they consider their most important audience.

You can call their journalists on 0161 335 6820 and tell them what you think, I tried but they'd 'all gone' 5 minutes after the programme had finished and I ended up speaking to some airhead who claimed she was a reporter and would leave a message for the sports presenter - when I gave her my message she said she didn't understand and that I should call back tomorrow.

They're a fucking disgrace JC. The lot of them. Sky still running with the allegations story and no sign of a mention of the club's response.

A club from their own league under attack and they back the attacker.

As Matthew Arnold might have said - us City fans are a bunch of Shelleys - 'beautiful and ineffectual angels, beating in the void our luminous wings in vain.

Perhaps send an email complaint to the BBC?

Long overdue. Awful commentator who was like the swotty nerdy kid at school, who irritated the shit out of the other kids.
He was no Gerald Thermostat.
Glad he's gone. He's rubbish.

It's Maureen's new attacking formation; the bus wasn't big enough.

Do sports 'journalists' actually get paid for writing articles such as this which are so superficially and vapidly banal ??

It sounds as though this was bashed out on a lap top whilst the writer was doing something more interesting at the time, such as cutting his toe nails.
