I think the whole team needs to get used to him because those quick diagonal balls he was playing all game are going to get us a lot of goals if they do - especially against teams trying to play a high backline.

Wanted him badly for all of the reasons we saw today against us and in other games I watched last season.

I think he could become the best left back in the world. Incredible combination of power, skill and pace at his position. Also clearly a great teammate and character the fans already love.

Love that first time crossing. Also love when one fullback overhits a cross the other fullback is there to collect it.

Has ever a player settled into a team so quickly.
Not too many do it. Aguero did, Silva did and one or two others.
It looks like he has been here for two years.

Jesus needs to watch what Leroy was doing.

Mendy is just Awesome. What a player!!!

If he stays fit, I think he could surpass Merlin or KDB for most assists this season

he was incredible going forward yesterday and did some nice pressing too but im still not fully convinced by his defending (not saying he's done anything wrong but i feel like he actually hasn't had to defend for us yet).
he plays so far up the pitch as a wing-back that he's usually out of the picture to defend. when we shifted to a back four Liverpool were already down to 10 and basically sitting back so he didnt really have to defend as a pure LB.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

This. Our midfield now reminds me of how Wolfsburg tore apart defences in their title-winning season under Magath.
