They're 2-0 up and there is no doubt they are a stronger team than Basel.
Two very decent crosses and two dominant headers, Bogbrush and Lukaku.
But that's it as far as football goes. Basel are not a good enough team but have played very decent football and cut through United very easily. They have no end profduct though and their final ball is being mopped up competently by the United defense.
Similar to what I saw in the Stoke game, I really do think any team that plays through United will get results.
A decent passing team running straight at them seems to be something they are not good at coping with.
Pogba has gone of injured as well. It'll be interesting to see if they can keep levels of concentration through three games a week, because their game relies heavily on the usual Mourinho organisation and structure.
They'll probably win this one by a couple more goals but nothing I've seen of them impresses me.
Possibly their easiest game in this group on paper?
True. Basel just don't have the quality to hurt United.
United 3-0 up now and fully expect a fourth but I really do think they are in for a wake up call when they meet someone decent.
I know it's a wet night but the place is quite empty now. It started of with quite a lot of empty seats but I'd say there has been more empty than occupied for quite a while now.
