Just saying.

Is "a Wimpy Bar" a kind of Aussie weird venue, featuring naked wallabies lapdancing?

just asking out of ignorance, having already carefully worn my coat... ;)

No, you're thinking of a Pleasure Palace there.

My shout. A pint of half it is then.

Thanks pal. And a tin of prawn cocktail crisps whilst you're about it if it's not too much trouble.

Careful you don't slip on that old codger's dribble there. Well, let's just hope it's dribble as he's been supping on that Old Hen for over an hour and not been to the toilet to relieve himself yet, so, y'know, watch out.

I doubt you and spaceman would be allowed in the places I drink in.

Bit of an upgrade on the Globetrotter in Aldershot then Carl?

Just sent a shiver down my spine Mr P....had the biggest fight I've ever had in my life just outside that place in 1984/5....I still have a deviated nasal passage because of it...............oh happy days.

Had an evil reputation did the Globetrotter. All us civvies used to give it a miss, although I believe it all calmed down when the Para's left town. I think being sort of underground made it even more fearsome.

This is Carl's story. I have no idea what a wimpy bar is.

We do have wanky bars though. That's where hipsters compare beard lengths and pay too much for their drinks.

Looks pretty hi-tech JL.

There are actually more blades of grass growing on that pitch, than there are follicles on Bobby Scumbag's glistening pate. ;)

They are growing some long grass round the edges which can then be pulled across the pitch.

vg MC/HS/JL - but that's tufted luxury compared with the cinder pitches we had when I were a lad - slide tackle on them and septic knees for a month

Ah, much like our set up. You can tailor the pitch to mimic different conditions. Impressive stuff.

Chris Waddle
Ex-Spurs and England winger on 5 live Sport at Wembley
The final ball has really let England down so far. Their approach play is good at times. Marcus Rashford for example. He shows some good touches, can beat his man, but there is no end product.

Possibly the worst miss in the history of football. Completely in control of the ball on the penalty spot, no bobbles and no opposition players within 5 yards. Wow
