"Fer@ie would never have allowed some of these feckers near his team." Of course not, because it would have meant letting go of 'quality' like Tom 'Fucking' Cleverley.

That Lindelof is that real shocker, deserves his own laughing thread. Not sure the miserable one will let him play again though

£32m as well. Defenders to come from Portugal in recent years, Mangala, Lindelof, Luiz. All for big money who have failed to consistently impress. Think there is a lesson to be learned here.
Agree that his rag stay could be a very short one. Shame, looked to me like he was settling in just fine

I think Mangala has it in him to be a lot better than his two compatriots NB.
If he was to be given a decent run in the side, I'd like to think he could do a 'Delph' and be impressive. However, that might only be at left back, or in a back three.
Perhaps he's just got to bide his time.

I've got to say that having the Mangler in the side fills me with the same sense of dread and foreboding as have having Bravo in goal.

He's crap on the ball. Delph is a natural midfielder, so he's comfortable receiving the ball and playing in all different situations. Mangala just doesn't have it in him to play our style.

You're probably right but it just seems a sad and expensive waste of what should have been a useful player for us.
I suppose Otamendi starting to win over his critics, imparts the same hope for Mangala. After all, he's not bad in the air and he's no slouch in the pace department.
However, as you say, he's too deficient on the ball for a Pep side.
It's still sad though.

It looks 100% mangala will be gone in January. It is a bit of a shame for him, but such is life. If we're replacing him with a left back, well happy days.

He won't be appearing for us in the Champs League then - Vinny had better get himself fit for Shaktar away.

Who will buy him? He spent a year playing in Spain but there were no takers. The buying of Mamgala and Fern2 was very wasteful.

I have been following this along with loads of other blues on twitter this afternoon and eve . Seems Castles is in the shit after having been called out for taking back handers alledgedly off Jorge Mendes for "bigging up" Mourinho . Mendes is Mourinho,s agent of course , very interesting now other journalists are getting involved . Castles demanded an apology off the guy who has sounded him out but basically got told to go fuck himself ........ castles on the ropes here for sure !
Not really here
Fuck VAR

Inter are supposed to want him.
Not so sure it was wasteful. He didn't / doesn't get a chance. Pep seems to be carrying all his eggs in the otamendi basket.

I didn't see either the game or MOTD. BB, so how slow was Milner by comparison and what did they have to say about it ??
