In our next game against Feyenord can we play a weakened team against Shaktar in the last group game or is there a UEFA rule saying we have to play as strong a team as possible due to other teams having a chance to qualify from the group.

As long as we field players in our champs league squad then we don't have a problem. Arsenal have fielded a second team tonight so I'm assuming we can. As it happens I think we could do that in our last 2 games. It looks like Real Madrid, Bayern and Juve will finish second so no real urgency to win our group.

Considering we went away to the he toughtsst game and brought in gundo and Danilo and still smashed it, is it really possible to weaken us too much with this squad? I fucking love this team!!!
Tracking back is overrated.

i dont believe e so. something like this happened with Zenit (i believe) last yr when their opponent scored like 5 goals and qualified.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

We have a nominated squad.
We can play anyone from that squad in any CL match.
There is no issue.

Play to win always. Keep this going imo as even a give away can set a team back.

Ideal opportunity to ease Foden in but not in an XI with wholesale changes, that just lends itself to a disjointed performance and doesn't help young lads settle imo.

While in principle i agree... I would be tempted to leave for example Fern1, KDB and Sergio back home to rest for the derby... Gundoman, Foden and Jesus can easily cover!

Obsiously the derby is more important than a dead rubber. Play a weak team. The loss would mean nothing.

I'd like to see Foden and Diaz (if he's recovered by then) given some minutes at home to Feyenoord

KdB is on a yellow. If he gets another in the Shakhtar game he’s out for first leg of next round so he certainly won’t play. Rest a few in my view to be fresh for the Derby. It’s a long trip out there and back.

Surely he'll pick one up in the Feyenoord game? Jersey off when he celebrates his goal?
