Great times what a season so far , unbelievable football from Pep and the players , setting records left right and center . 8 points clear at the top of the league , undefeated and top of our CL group and already qualified for the last 16 . The buzz is unreal right now for all city fans ..........

Pep has certainly got it sorted this season and removed the doubts i have had about him. It's unreal, it is almost as if we don't want to take Corners because they give the opposition a chance. Sometimes the movement and passing is simply breathtaking. Concentration levels are at their highest.

I think Sane and Tin tin are going to stand out this season- they have already but everthing about their game is good. Chasing back, tackling off the second touch , anticipation of what the opposition is doing. Brilliant ... Aren't mams Fantastic ! oops , i'll get my coat.

perfectly timed thread, upon the boredoom of yet another break. well done, 64!

I myself, never had doubt on that Pep was the genious hes proving to be and the right one to take City to the last step, where Bobby Manc probably could have not.

In two windows, even the slight deficiencies will have been sorted, no doubt about that tho. what achieved in this summer's is already very impressive, particularly by City's standards on acting on the market.

As already said, it just would be perfect if he could stop talking barcelona shite and, maybe, gets a little more direct on fellow manager when the occasion commands. as someone elso noted in the match thread yday.
on that, my man's love would be done.

HAPPY DAYS INDEED!

5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

I'm fairly certain this is going to be the greatest city team ever assembled and I'm a miserable pessimist. We're watching history unfold.

I’m the same. I’m waiting for that first loss like “it’s coming. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves I’m still nervous”.

When we’re 20 points clear I’ll get the little fella out and windmill.

It's still relatively early days yet, there's a lot of football we have to play before we know how the season pans out so we can't get carried away and become giddy at this point.

In the 1971/72 season, with just a few games left, we had the title within our grasp and that all turned sour.

However, having said that, I'd rather be in our position, here and now, than any other side.

At this stage, I think that's all anyone could ask.

It's fabulous times but lets be honest, it's not quite hit the heights of Wycombe, Gillingham and York City yet ... I will wait for the 'thrash the trash' day in 4 weeks before making up my mind .... maybe

I'll wait until we have two consecutive great seasons. There're been to many false dawn's since the sheikh took over when I thought we've started our reign only for scum or Chelsea to ruin the party. (If I'm honest, we are the most consistent and successful team in the league since our first title, but who gives a fuck about the number of top four finishes? It's silverware that counts.)
