I think it might well be Karoooo, seeing as his father is Gambian. Not an expert on Gambia, but I'm sure they don't pronounce names like Scandinavians. Carew is quite a Scottish name isn't it?

It certainly isn't a Scandinavian, so in one way you're right. But SI'm fairly certain that he pronounces his name Carew. If not, I (and most other Scandinavians) are just as guilty as the Brittish.
