Love how the kids wanted the ball all the fucking time (Brahim a bit too much). Neither of them went hiding.

I'll take that. We can't thump everyone 5-0. Key players rested or given limited game time, job's a good un.

Well it’s job done.
Had hoped for more time for the two youngsters but it was obvious the way the first half went that it wasn’t going to happen. Still both looked comfortable and not out of place.
Diaz had very little time to shine so he can be forgiven for trying to make the most of it. Thought he did very well for the couple of minutes he got.
I think the bad points of the night are things we already know.
Yaya is finished.
Mangala will not suffice as cover.
Danilo is not left back.
Bernardo Silva is too slow to play on the wing and is quite sloppy in possession at times. I’ll give him s pass though as he is obviously skilful and it is his first season.
Sergio takes about 5 games to get up to speed after injury.
A real dead rubber game and it showed.
As I said though job done.
Players rested.
Next game please.

Not the handiest of groups and we’ve it topped with a game to spare, great job you can’t argue with that.

Job done: seed secured for knock-out stage and a winter trip to feckling USSR to be spared to our key players ahead of the derby.
To the moaning faclers: I'd really not read anything in a match of expected relaxed attitude, orchestrated by the Yaya's retired legs, where only the Fresh Blood who have been just given a cameo presence could have brought desire and some sense of urgency. on such note, disappointed with Pep's conservative approach as the occasion, home vs a fair opposition on a game which only needed a point, was rarelly fitting.
MORE IMPORTANTLY, whoever is the genius behind that "MCFC, definitely Manchester" banner pls someone PM her/his details, cause I'd love to offer a long supply of those fine ales on sale at the Port Street Beer House.
and I'd also dare saying If Carl isnt a cunt should also grant a weekend in paradise, including customary welcome free chips for the casino.
back to exile, but please put me in contact with the banner genius.

My sentiments also , can be painful reading on here even though we are on a crest of a wave . If you cant enjoy it now there is no fucking hope , funny world innit .Pissed the CL group with a game to go , top of the PL breaking records left right and center and some just want to moan and moan , oh and we have now won 17 on the trot

One of the better games I thought. For any game that has meaning we'll play the first team with minor changes, if necessary, but tonight was different. Those players had hardly played and there was no cohesion betwen partnerships, yet we still pushed out a win.
I take a lot from this game mate, and so will the club.

Don't get me wrong I ain't complaining. Merely making the point as far as memorable games go it's not up there and never was going to be.
Bigger battles ahead. Onward to Sunday.

Oh yes mate, and I wasn't trying to get on your case, as you, just expressing my view on the game.
