Dream time of that happens!

Who do Chelsea play next week ??

If they win and we beat the Scum, they'll be on the same points as the Swamp Rats, which would be nice for Mourinho's blood pressure levels.

It's being portrayed as our demise that we are struggling against lesser sides.
However I view it as games that would have cost us two points last season.
Furthermore it might just make some teams think, that even if they play Maureen style, they'll still get fuck all but warm words and some half time oranges.

Enjoyed the result and that's about it. Getting bored of 11 players in their own final third of the pitch. When we were a so-called lesser team, we did the decent thing and made the game a spectacle by playing to win . . . . invariably losing .... but we at least had a fun game and entertainment!

So, 20 wins on the bounce. Can't imagine that's been done many times before, if at all, in Europe as well. Ground out again after another uninspiring first half.

However, on the bright side, though it now seems the norm for the opposition to drive their coach onto our hallowed turf and park it, we seem to be able to eventually wear them down and find our way through. I fear we will see a lot more of it in the coming weeks as well.

So now we know for sure that Danilo at LB is pointless and Delph in centre midfield is not good enough either. Aguero was equally ineffective up front on his own.
Have we turned a corner through the changes in that second half? I think and hope so :D

The last three wins have been colossus , it shows the spirit and more importantly the belief Pep has installed with this squad.

We are not going to blow teams away every week , but if they want to play football then bring it on.

Over to you Maureen  :D

Pep is learning all the time. Having a big parked bus is nothing new but it is very difficult to get through it if you don't play with real intensity, pace and movement.

Can Danilo play left back? Of course he can but not as well as we would like as he lacks the attacking qualities to really help against a packed defence.
Same with Delph in midfield. I thought he played ok today but in a limited way and all the emphasis was on the attacking 5. Two midfield maestros, 2 wide attackers and Aguero. First half today none of them were really at the races and I would say especially Aguero as his movement just doesn't seem right.

As soon as the 2nd half got going things looked better with Jesus movement plus his touch which was quality. It ended with us winning and a massive win ir was in context. Isn't it amazing how we continue to jusy play our football in such difficult situations with so little time left. Never ever resorting to hoofball

Pep says he knows how to beat the bus he was hinting at playing four r up front so Sánchez Jesus Aguero and Foden our 17 year old genius?
Given they won’t get out of their half I see that might work

I think the key is having kdb and David conducting more from deep. When the last three busses have been parked (Huddersfield, soton and today) they have both spent the first 45 trying to find gaps in between. As a result they were not seeing enough of the ball to make a difference. Moving them deeper has made a difference in all three matches for me.

Delph was decent today - dunno what other people were watching. He was constantly trying to up the temp and keep the ball moving. No issues with him for me.

When Brown dropped into CM our attacking game improved dramatically, Jesus coming on and Danilo going off were a key part of it too as was Fab's return to LB.

I thought he was excellent in central midfield in the first half. He was very mobile and then filled in well at left back in the second half. Infact, he's a decent shout for MOTM. He is limited in that he doesn't put worldy crosses in and he doesn't have the vision to split a defence. But KDB and Merlin can do that.
