Generally agree, but that last move was pretty brilliant. Sergio should have done better again

Agree been critical with pep for his handling of him as he's only had minutes at the end of games, and on the wing. But when he's starting, allbeit wing again, he's been anonymous and constantly gives the ball away with zero press/ running back. Diaz gets the shirt ahead of b Silva and foden.

Danilo and yaya are this season's dead weight, get maffeo back.

Well at least if we lose to the scum now it won't be them that ended our fabulous run of wins.

+4 added time.

The rules state a MINIMUM of 4 minutes plus time for breaks in play(such as a pen and goal)

3:57???

I don't get why likes of Silva gave zero fucks.

Also Jesus and aguero are both woeful in front of goal at the moment.

Did I hear we are staying over another full night?

So barely any prep for our two main chances in keV and Dave (bar sterling)

In a way now that the run is over there is less pressure.
It's not a bad thing.

Jesus, Gundogan, Bernardo, Danilo, Mangala, Yaya - no really encouraging performances from these players who are looking to break into our starting XI, some were just poor.

You may well be right.
TBH John although I was calling for Yaya off I can see what Pep was thinking here and before the game we were all saying who cares about this match.
Don’t risk anyone for Sunday.
Well you could argue on any sort of line up before the match, but I’m not that upset about how Pep played that one.
He took Sane off instead of Yaya.
On reflection the right decision.
Sane gets a rest. He’s playing Sunday.
Fern was taken off. He’s playing Sunday.
All of Sundays back four got s rest tonight.
Silva and Kev will play on Sunday. They got a rest.
Raheem got s rest. He’ll play Sunday.

You can see Sunday’s team already.
I’d imagine Kun will get the nod on Jesus.

Another plus is the kids got significant game time. I think all three acquitted themselves well.

I’m glad Pep didn’t go balls deep in this one to prove nothing. There’s a lot of talk about his ego, well I didn’t think he let it get in the way tonight.

2-1 isn’t s disgrace in s game most were writing off beforehand.
It was nothing more than a practice game.
A few lessons learned, we move on to the real stuff now.

Dead rubber, 2 - 1 defeat, no big deal. :D :D

What we learned tonight.

• Yaya is done at every level,I honestly think MLS will be too quick for him.

• Mangala is at last gaining some consistency ;) ;) ;) ……….he is consistently consistent at giving the opposition 2/3 chances every game. He is getting worse.

• Our youngsters have more chance of making the first team than most the expensive second string, who i think let the Kids down tonight.

• This result means absolutely fuck all,it will be quickly forgotten, Unless you’re a Rag, I expect you probably feel quietly confident of turning 1 defeat, in to 2 defeats in quick succession. Personally I think this could be the kick up the arse we need to push on. Rags will be on the receiving end of a pasting on Sunday. Nothing more dangerous than a wounded Beast. Shark Team will be fed to the point of gluttony Sunday tea time. :D :D :D :D :D

* If David Silva really is injured we should consider playing him on crutches before letting Yaya play again this season

A good post with a bit of perspective.

I might also add a 2-1 defeat without having KDB/Silva/Walker/Sterling/Otamendi/VK playing any part in the game.Basicaly the beating Heart..

We beat the Rags Sunday go 11 points clear,no one will give a shit about a dear rubber we lost in Ukraine.

Jesus has just moved to this country and not been here a full season yet. Plus he’s about 12. He’s allowed a dip.
