i thought he mentioned Spurs but thats this coming weekend. maybe Leicester.

Last I heard it was 'New Year' but who knows? I thought Tosin was good at Shaktar.

Amthough tosin did grow into the game against shaktar can't see pep playing tosin just yet. It's otter and mangler for a while now.

Stones said last week that he'd like to be back before Christmas but realistically it will be just after Christmas.

Huge shame stones won't be fit for the spurs game.
I would worry about mangala against them.

Have to sadly agree with this. Not only is it a problem for our long-term stability that we rely on him if and when he's fit, but it also means we have to bolster the bench with more defensive options, just in case he gets injured or is at risk of being sent off.

Where do you think he would go to ? I cant see any top side taking him on with his injuries and would we let him go for a free ?

How long is left on the contract?

Sadly the body isn't willing to do what is needed

The policy of keeping it up the other end of the pitch will pay dividends. Mind you the Mangler was hoofing it like a good 'un yesterday

His contract's until the end of next season, from what I recall, so I wouldn't be surprised if the club let him go on a free in the summer, if that's what he truly wanted. He'd be 33 by the time his contract expires, so he might be able to get one last 3-year contract at a decent-ish club if he goes in the summer. I'd prefer him to stay with us to the end of his contract, though, possibly being loaned to one of our sister clubs for a season or half-season during that time, before joining up with Vieira at NYCFC to learn the coaching ropes, while possibly doing a bit of pro-club punditry.

I doubt that he will be able to play more than 10-15 games a season in the future. Running down his contract and looking for another stint somewhere else sounds like a waste of time to me, not to mention the negative impact on his physical health and psyche from the constant injuries. If he wants to go into coaching/managing, he should start asap with his badges.

I have a feeling that he will retire after the World Cup.

Agree with you. I meant him leaving this summer (2018) on a free, rather than after his contract expires. I can't imagine him being offered anything more than a one year deal anywhere were he to leave in summer 2019.

I'm sure he said the same thing the last time Vinny got injured whilst with Belgium - and then he missed 13 games

Wonder if he was hooked as a precaution. Rest him vs Swans and bring him back vs Spurs.
He did lead the charge in the tunnel after all

Seems Vinny has got himself a masters with his time off. I'll avoid the obligatory PhD joke.

Good on him.

Piss funny but believable as there is no degree for common sense and some of these degree holders are D- holders of CS.

Kompany is a smart guy though.

She had zero common sense.

There was plenty of people that worked for me that were grads from Uni and they were my minions. A certificate in sucking a tutors pecker doesn’t mean a thing imo.
