'Saw a documentary earlier this week with interviews with Lee Won Pen and Buzzer. They were saying that normally they used screw in studs but for that game they wore nailed in studs and filed them down so that the nails stuck out. Ouch!

We forget how good some of the football was!
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

Great to watch that again and so similar to what we are seeing now in the domination of the game, chances created (many missed), great movement and attacking flair.
Happy days then and even happier days now.

Have an old VHS tape somewhere, of Bell, Lee & Summerbee with the ballet on ice on it.
I’ve nothing to play it on anymore.

I was there, will never forget that game, Nelly floating on the left, Buzzer in a more central role, they even scored first, Greaves it was freezing, that pitch would not have been played on today ah memories.

To be fair everyone concerned with the game said the only reason the game went ahead was because it was being televised. Even back then that pitch would have normally meant the game was postponed.
It's near impossible to comprehend nowadays what a big deal having your match televised was back then.
