He was even more brilliant the last few minutes of yesterday's game......most of us saw it.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

when was his last contract up?
being the pessimist that i am, i hope we dont get carried away and extend a number of players that may be having a one-off season and/or may drop off soon.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

I’m not convinced by Otamendi and I think we could do better.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

I think that Otamendi ha grown into a good centre back and we must be careful not to buy a replacement who may well be worse or take two seasons to learn the Premier League. I think Otamendi will be hard to improve upon in the summer and almost impossible to improve upon in January. When we have an injury prone Kompany and Stones out we should appreciate how he has grown and developed under Pep with a real penchant for distribution forward rather than just passing sideways.
I think is contract extension is excellent news for someone who is becoming a solid member of the system and team.
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

Biggest improver in the team, outstanding this season. Passing has always been a strength but his positional sense is now superb, thanks in no short measure to the confidence inspired by Eddy's speed out of his box.

Biggest improver for me is Delphinio Peps worked magic with him . But I agree Otter has come on leaps and bounds . He still seems a bit soft for a center half for me imo . Come on u Otter prove me wrong

Surely Sterling is the biggest improver. 16 goals, numerous assists and counting before Xmas.

Yep, sterling for me but Delph and otter are great shouts. Otter is a different player this year but he still has that last minute lunge in him. Fortunately, his timing has been impeccable.

You could make a case for Stones too.
Come to think of it, De Briuyne has stepped up to a whole new level.

All great shouts everyone has gone up a gear fantastic all around .
My shout for Delphinio was based on he might not even be here if Mendy were fit ,

basically we just gave a 5 year contract to a player who will turns 30 soon. not sure that’s great business tbh, even though I like him as a player.

we'll get a return on that 2 year extension when he signs for Madrid after Virgil arrives.

It also spreads the remaining depreciation of his contract over a longer period, reducing his costs per year in the accounts.
