Good to see you back. I thought all this optimism and positivity might've seen you off for good!

Should've give me a shout last week. Surprised you didn't have to watch it on your own in Newquay in January.

I am really warming to Roberto Mancini I have to say, his press conference style is fucking funny.

Proper sneaky devious Italian..."Carlo and Neville, they are good friends I think" with a big smile. Class! I liked his "don't look back in anger, Oasis...fantastic" too.

The journos all giggle at his jokes like a bunch of little queens. Ridiculous. They really are having a post Jose love in with him

Just changed my vote from 'Not Sure' to 'No'. I like Mancio, but Hughes could've sorted that. You fuckin' pawn queen!

I've changed my vote to yes.

Roberto, you got it wrong in the first leg and bang on the second time you met them.

And you put your trust in some lads that are gonna give the first teamers a real run for their money.

hmmm.

i firmly believe Hughes would have got us through that tie.

before i am pilloried, look at the last derby there. at least we got in their faces and the whole team were positive.

and scored three goals.

I thought we should of buried it at home, but maybe Mancini was a little too cautious, but under Hughes I don't think we would of had an advantage coming into this leg, apart from the 4-3 at the swamp earlier in the season, Hughes performed terribly in the derby last season..but overall we won 5 out 7 with Mancini and that is not that bad a run really

So, Hughes got us this far, did Mancio get us any further?

Oh FFS beef we beat Arsenal's kids and Scunthorpe, at least we took the rags first XI close, we were two minutes away from going to extra time and looked the more likely to score. Yes we scored three there with Hughes but we let in FOUR. And that was with a first choice central defence rather than a midfielder partnered with a kid who has had a couple of games at professional level. Your turn to get some p-e-r-s-p-e-c-t-i-v-e?

The kid was in ahead of Nedum. He had a good first half hour and after that... he looked like a kid.

Nedum simply mustn't be 100% yet, certainly not for a possible 120 mins and with the match situation from 1st leg I can understand why RM wanted to keep his tactical options open for subs rather than risk Ned's fitness lasting. We will have so many players back in the next few weeks that I'm very confident we can still bounce back and push on.

He played 90 minutes against Scunthorpe didn't he? No problems there... and Boyata seemed to lose it completely from 55 minutes... I know who would have made me more comfortable. And we'll not be bouncing back or pushing on for the cup will we.

Absurd decision to put a child in for the biggest game of my lifetime.

This was a cup game and a one-off. We were fighting uphill the whole game against a team that were allowed push, drag, scratch, stamp and elbow.

Waste of time trying to answer this question so soon after a game like this.

how many derby games did Hughes win? How many? Here he would've needed result on two games. Tell me what was his record over the rags.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I liked hughes very much but i honestly think we would have been wallopped against the munes in that form. I also think, deprived of key personnel as we were first leg, he would have gotten it wrong and last night would have been a foregone conclusion.

I'm happy with our management team.

We are sitting nice in the league and i fully believe we can win the fa cup. Keep the faith.
