tbf every first choice starter and bencher is missing from that line-up - Arsenic seems tired of the FA cup, Forest will think they are in with a great chance.

You'd think he'd not want to remain the FA cup holders, maybe he's concentrating on the league cup this season, probably their best chance of European football next season ...

Plus Alexis looks like a petulant child these days—last season as well.

Im just not sold on him and this point in his career and given how well we’re playing.

You are not alone at all. I have that concern too. But when you watch the Arse he is their stand out player, and the idea of relying on Aguero not to breakdown whilst playing every game from now until the end part of Feb makes me more than a little nervous. I'd hate us to bugger up the season for the sake of not paying twenty million quid for a player who seems to be coming anyway.
As mentioned, Pep doesn't think he will be a problem, and Sanchez did play second fiddle to Messi, Henry and Villa at Barca without wrecking their team. We have reason to trust his judgement.

I‘ve said all along i don‘t want him to sign for us , another Rodney Marsh set up , this time of the season .

Let him stay at the Arse and cause unrest .

We should bust a gut and stop Bayern getting Goretzka.

I hear you, but Aguero is already unsettled.

We're talking about adding a world class player for a ridiculously low price, and the situation with Aguero I suspect is very much at play here as well.

Sergio has incredible ability, we all know, but his form has not been so great, let's be real. I think he's probably not as comfortable with the system and not eing automatic top dog, but I will side with Pep on what he wants best for the team as he needs players to suit his approach. Even though we know what we get from Kun, which is incredible abilities in many areas, it can also mean that it isn't always what's best for the way Pep wants.

Meanwhile, Jesus is out for some time so we could very much use another striker. What if Kun gets hurt? That could be a huge blow even after we've had such a great season thus far. I think Kun is going this summer anyway, so we'd only have the 3 fit (assumedly) for the last few months of the season.

Know exactly how you feel , but yer know if he pushes over the line for the league and a cup money well spent , I guess whatever it is ??

Esattamente! I guess we are on the verge of something incredible. If he helps push us over the line it will be money well spent. This is why I didn't think that Whinger would sell given his churlishness.

Not quite the same as Marsh. When Marsh came we were a fast-breaking team and he slowed up the whole dynamic. Sanchez will slot straight into our style. As for his presence in the squad as a slapped-arse waiting to happen, that's another matter.

Anyway, the Arse will need him to help them qualify for the CL through the Raggy route .

Truth is we need another striker with Jesus missing, whether you like Sanchez or not.

My attitude to Alexis all along has been that he is a very good player who Pep seems to want.
If we get him at a less than extortionate price, well and good.
However Arsenal behaved like Arseholes in August. I don’t think we should entertain them as far as negotiations are concerned.

An ultimatum from us would be more fitting. Take it or leave it. Get nothing for him in June if you act like pricks again.

No we don‘t!

We are scoring goals from all over the park.

If anything, the out and out striker role is diminished in this team and the way we play.

Chilean journalist says we’re close to getting Sanchez. Arsenal want 35 million so we have to up our bid of 20 million.

If we are going to compete for 4 trophies (and it certainly looks like we will), we need extra bodies. Sanchez is as good as any, especially given his PL experience, and him not being Cup tied for the CL and the FA cup.

I’d regard the striker roll as a rolling one between the front three.
As such we only have a choice of four to choose from, maybe five if you count Bernardo, but he’s not really there yet.

I think we need another striker, but with luck we could have the personnel to improvise. Not an ideal way to deal with the schedule though given our ambitions.

Exactly, pep has a system and he's not going to change it to suit one player.

This player suits our system perfectly anyway and if he doesn't play well he won't play.

I'd rather be looking at him than for him.

We do pay the money whatever. I know we'd all rather Arsenal didn't get it, but it's either Arsenal or Sanchez. Either way, we pay it out.

For the record, I think he will come for less than £35m.
