.....says the Sun
Manchester City are submitting a £60 million bid to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City, according to reports. The Premier League leaders completed the signing of Aymeric Laporte in a £57m deal from Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday afternoon. But Pep Guardiola is now searching for cover in attack after Leroy Sane was ruled out for at least six weeks after damaging his ankle ligaments in City’s 2-0 win over Cardiff City in the FA Cup on Sunday. Guardiola had expected to sign Alexis Sanchez this month but City lost out to Manchester United in the race for the Chilean.
According to The Sun, City have now made a move to sign Mahrez ahead of Wednesday’s transfer deadline. The report claims that the Premier League leaders are keen to conclude the deal quickly and want the Algerian winger to travel to Manchester on Tuesday. Both Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with the 26-year-old this month but Leicester have been adamant that they would not allow the player to leave. Reports in France, however, have claimed that Mahrez has an agreement with Leicester which allows him to leave if a suitable offer is received.

I'd be very happy with this.
Sane is out for 2 critical months and Mahrez knows the league. 26 is no age either and a former POTY.
Do it. Better to be looking at him than for him.

Pep has just said no more deals this window . Mahrez is another moody over priced snake who along with Vardy got Ranieri the sack just months after winning the title . £60 million for that cunt ? get real that's why no other club has been in for him .
Not really here
Fuck VAR

Silly season, but I wouldn't believe anything any manager says.

Mahrez is a huge talent. However, I don't see Leicester letting him go this late in the transfer window, without a replacement.
It was the same as Sanchez in summer, we put a very late offer in just before the window closed, but didn't allow the selling club sufficient time.
I would be very surprised if we got him, but I'm not against the transfer in principle.

I think he is class, but i think he is lazy and has a dubious character.
But Guardiola will get the best of him.

Agree with this.
Overall I'm happy with it though, he's a great player.

He’s not coming unless Pep wants him. He’s a very good player indeed. Leicester can’t spend the money now but he doesn’t want to stay and they might want to screw every penny out of City and let go.
