Do you not think Beefy that, if such a scenario prevailed, Mourinho would be so churlish that he would not allow his players to form a guard of honour ??

As the man who always tries to input the word 'I' into 'Football Team', surely his ego wouldn't allow such an accolade to be so publicly viewed ??

Yes, as it stands, it's 6.

6:
72 + 18 = 90
56 + 18 = 74 + 15 = 89

5:
72 + 15 = 87
56 + 15 = 71 + 18 = 89

We've got the scum in six PL games' time.
Up to that, we've got Arse away and Chavs at home.
They've got both Chavs and Scouse at home.
But based on form, they're more likely to lose more points from those top six sides.

So we need to be 3 points better (in that time), so that they gracefully perform the guard of honour when they visit us ;)

Remember we also have Everton away so it’s still just a theory at this stage. One game at a time

Ps. Plus if we go through in the FA Cup doesn’t that mean the Brighton game will be moved?

Why assume each game for the rags or city are wins . I think we only need five more wins . The fifth being against the Rags.

They can’t keep the pretence up . Pogba is a disaster , Matic old , Sanchez is playing for himself and Lukaku , well nuff said . Their football style is a mess. The cannot make five passes without losing the ball.

Didn't see the game today but I notice that Rashford-Messi was neither in the side, nor on the bench.

Is he injured, out of sorts, out of favour, doing a 'Sanchez', having nose reduction surgery (to improve his speed), or did his toe nails just need cutting ??

Was anything vaguely resembling the truth mentioned by the commentators ??

Very true mate, the classless cunts would not allow it as it would send out the wrong message commercially. However, it would make them look so petty that the media would have no choice but to call them out on it.

Whether they did or didn't, I'd enjoy it nonetheless.

I heard something on commentary about playing with an injury and some sort of heart condition. Of that was the case, why was he even on the field?

The results mean City are 16 points ahead of United with 11 games of the season left to play and Pep Guardiola's side could now win the league with a win over their city rivals at the Etihad Stadium on April 7.

For that to happen, both City and United would need to win their next five matches, which would leave City needing just one more win to secure the Premier League title.

Man City and Man Utd remaining fixtures

Manchester City Manchester United
March 1: Arsenal (A) February 25: Chelsea (H)
March 4: Chelsea (H) March 5: Crystal Palace (A)
March 12: Stoke (A) March 10: Liverpool (H)
March 18: Brighton (H) March 18: West Ham (A)
March 31: Everton (A) March 31: Swansea (H)
April 7: Manchester United (H) April 7: Manchester City (A)

Should United drop points before the derby then City could even wrap up the title in late March when they face Brighton or Everton.

However, City might not get the chance to win it against United if they progress in the FA Cup.

They face Wigan in the fifth round of the competition on February 19 and the weekend of the quarter-finals is on March 17, which is when City are scheduled to play Brighton in the Premier League.

That game would then be postponed and City could be left needing one more win to secure the title if they beat United.

so assuming we win out and beat Wigan we need United to lose once more before we play them in order to win the league after beating them at the Etihad.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

On that basis, I'm surmising he won't be playing much for the rest of this season.
