PL Trophy ceremony

Postby blues2win » Mon Feb 12, 2018 10:16 pm

My American nephew wants to come over for the PL trophy ceremony. I presume it will be handed over at Southampton in the last match of the season at say 5 pm? The last home match is the weekend before so I dont suppose it will be then. Impossible to guess when we’ll be mathematically clear. Could be lots of matches but the trophy won’t be handed out then I suppose. Anyone know?

Obviously a bit of a hostage to fortune!

Whatever the last home game is at the end of the season. Currently Huddersfield but with possible re-arrangements due to FA Cup games it could be midweek between Huddersfield & Southampton.

I don't know how it still manages to confuse me. Bit I always think it has to be the last weekend of the season, as opposed to the last home game...

Probably because our last two suited that

It's funny even as recent as 1990 the World Cup was the be all and end all. Remembering 1970 as on that other thread. Now I couldn't give a flyin fuck to be honest. It will just knacker up our players, England will be crap and our US matches will be played by kids. We will lose them and the media will have a field day.

Same old, same old

Having watched City since the 1950s I will not be absolutely certain until the numbers support the supposition!!

Exactly hate it its pathetic. And our players coming back knackered next season. KDB will probably need a summer off but he wont get it, and he is just one example.

No. They got spanked in the tests.
