Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Couldn't help thinking how much of a shit situation the gooners are in after the final defeat and having to play us again.
They have to try and overcome not only the deflation of a cup final defeat, but also the fact they have to play the same team that basically humiliated them second half so much they gave up. On top of that their fans are either abusing them or have given up, in addition to the media basically to man saying their manager should quit.
That would be bad enough if they were facing Stoke, so to have to face a team that made them look like muppets and may even be strengthened for this game.
This game is a massive test of character for the arse players... and the final straw is perhaps that as a team they are least best at closing games down and defending... they are at their best attacking, exactly what plays best into City's hands.
Make no mistake i think this is going to be one of our toughest games of the season ( at least until we score that is )

Parlour on talkspurt this morning was saying that if he'd been playing he'd have upped his game with some yellow card fouls, even a red. Disgusting to advocate that, but then talkspurt as a whole has no moral compass anyway.

Him and Tim Sherwood were on the Debate discussing the final and Sherwood said the same thing.

So we’re basically back to where we were a few weeks ago.
People advocating that the way to stop us is to kick the shit out of us.
And people wonder why the club want to meet with Pigmol.

Massive game given Chelsea follows it just 3 days later. It will be interesting to see who takes on Fern's role. With Delph out too I'm assuming it will be Danilo with Zinc at LB. I don't think Zinc can play there against Chelsea though, with Willian and Hazard running at him.

Just a mid table team, showing end of season disinterest.
Turn ‚em over easy.
No worries here.

I think he’ll play Gundo there personally. Fern out and Bernardo in.
Tracking back is overrated.

He may well do but Gundo does not tackle. Fern will be a big miss. Sterling may come in if he is training fully.

I want to see the ref being strong and taking immediate action in this one as I feel the likes of Little Shit'shire will be gunning to injure one of ours after we humiliated him, and his diving ways.

Just been reading a couple of Arsenal forums and quite a few of their fans want us to win by about 5 to nil to hasten the departure of Wenger.

Can't help but think they will get stuck in a bit, in a reckless sort of way. The stick these players have had must make them far more determined. I actually thought they were decent first half, and I doubt many teams could have coped with us in the early stages of the second half.

I can see their frustration getting the better of them.

Can’t help but think that was the whole point of Neville going OTT on them.

I can see this happening.
We embarrassed them on Sunday without being at our best.
But our team spirit is excellent at the moment and the players will know that 2 wins against Arsenal and Chelsea will be a huge step towards securing the title.

Who's gonna be the ref?
I leave the shit talks to talkshite where they belong.
As long the formal letter of the FIFA (as opposite to the subliminal FA interpretation of it) book of Rules shall be enforrced... all Parlour Sherman and the Arsenal pride will make is suck.
I personally would play Danilo at DM, but sure Pep won't.

3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City
You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...
In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

Serious doubt about the game taking place. Further snow forecast for tomorrow in the London area. As ever the problem is the safety of spectators in the areas around the ground. City team travelling by train but rail travel could be seriously disrupted too.
