CB space could be any of Kompany Stones or Laporte
LB could be any of Delph, Zinchenko or Danilo
RW could be sterling or Bernardo
Up top could be Jesus or Aguero
Mendy not involved yet
Fern gets the nod over Gundogan for now
Plus we have so many other options because of how we play, it's brilliant
But that would be my team sheet with the blanks filled on how training goes and giving players a rest.

Agreed and Pep has just said in his presser he hopes Raheem will figure tomorrow night, if not then against stoke.
Fern won't figure tomorrow but should be good for stoke.
Answering the original question, has to be Super Kev and Magic Dave.

if you both are referring to WW's post, I think the point rather was that we have a good back up for Sterling's position in Bernardo whereas we don't really have a back-up for Sané. I agree that Raheem has been at least as good as Leroy this season, but now with Bernardo coming into form we are worse off if Sané is out than if Sterling is.

I think similar to Zinchenko being put at LB, Bernardo is doing an admirable job in the RW position he has been played. He has his limitations though. i.e. no speed and being new to the league, he found it hard at the start to get into things.
Although he's starting to show us that he is a considerably skilful player, I don't see him as any sort of backup for Raheem at all. He's a stop gap.
Eventually, I still see him being groomed for more of a Silva role.
He's definitely adapting, but we don't have the balance in the team that, Sane and Stering offer. We use their speed and directness and the width of the pitch, much better on the counter-attack, with the pair of them in the team.
Without one or other, we become slower on the build up, although Bernardo offers considerable ball retention, with KDB and Dave.
My choices were Eddie and Fern, because basically when available, that is the reality of what Pep thinks, IMO.
Personally I feel much more assured when Merlin and Fern are available.
I think Dave is really turning into one of our senior go to figures. He's a real leader by example.

Sane’s not had as good of a season as Sterling.

They both play better when both are playing, if you know what I mean.

That's pretty much what I'm saying, though: "... at least as good as Leroy ..."

I wanted only 2 in order to make it hard. Three wouldve been too easy (our CM trio).
Plus my feeling is that, after KDB, Ederson has been the most important player for us all season and has had a huge hand in the staggering diffeence between this season and last season. I was curious to see how many people put him on their list

I know exactly what you mean. It's the balance thing I was referring to.
When Mendy gets back to full fitness, will Pep go 3-5-2 to accomodate jesus and Kun,
and if so who gets sacrificed in midfield?
