It shouldn't be. Lambert has said we're not invincible and beatable which should mean they want to play football.

Remember the game a couple of seasons back where whenever the ball went above head height it went back in the opposite direction.

Horrible ground to play in, just need to keep the ball on the floor.

He means they will hope to nick one with their only shot on goal after our mistake à la Wigan.

According to our Spanish friend, Sterling is on the bench tonight but Merlin expected to start. I'm really hoping Fern can start but it's only 2 weeks since he did his hammy so um guessing that's unlikely.

That ground is a wind tunnel. Pullis used to exploit it every chance he got.

see where You are coming from, but I rather have Dinho to be given more, even overexceding, time to fully recover.
City can make it at Stoke without their masterful DM, and even if we fail to get the full bag of points, only downfall would be not being able to see Rags forced to give roll of honour to the Champions.

imo, all the efforts and planning should be deemed to have Best XI in full flair for the last 5 CL games (hopefully ;) )

btw:
Officials:
Jonathan Moss will take charge of the proceedings on Monday night, with Adrian Holmes and Andy Halliday as his assistants.

Fernandinho Silva and Kevin to play and deal with the Stoke bus. Aguero out Sterling on the bench. Delph fit in time to get injured playing for England.

Worried that he might be overly-eager to prove himself, and get hauled off after 55 minutes to prevent an injury without having found the net. Which might be a blow to his confidence.

you raise a sensible point, but i never fail to be stunned at how smart cool and mature the lad is at his age.
so confident.... and as per previous drivel, not particularly fussed should things go south. much unlikely though, the boys are on fire, horny as fuck.

Lineup announced on livescore has Aguero starting. Anyone know if that's official, or just a prediction? Thought it was too early for it to be announced.

It's not been officially announced so I doubt that's right.
