He really is an enigma. Maybe he is challenging himself , try and win with his second string, to show Maureen how great he is.

Comes off he will say look what I did, I beat you with my second string.

It doesn’t, he can say I am saving my best players for Tuesday.

We lose this Derby we might need 2 wins to be Champions. My opinion would have been fuck Tuesday until Tuesday comes round. Get this Title in the Bag, Don’t risk doubt setting in. Should have given Wednesday team minus Gudogan the chance to get that performance out of their system. Build up confidence for Tuesday.

It just stinks mate. I never thought I’d see City win anything and now we are doing games like this are spoilt by the arrogance of one man.

Oh well - COME ON CITY!!!!!!

This is silverware on the line here - I hope he has some kind of master plan.

while i too am a little upset about the line up (especially Gundogan) which part of the team selection are people really upset about?

Sterling > Jesus? yes Jesus scored vs Everton but he hasnt been all that since coming back from injury
Bernardo in? he's been good when he's played recently and he's the logical replacement for Sterling's wing position
Danilo > Walker? yeah, i can see the frustration here but Walker has played ALOT recently and had his worst performance midweek
Gundogan > KDB? this has to be what have people pissed. id be happy if we sold Gundogan so i definitely dont like this switch but KDB hasn't been his normal self recently and he's played sooo much too.

aside from that the rest of the team is who we expected. 3 changes.

Maybe a smarter fella here can help me understand why is still Gundogan playing also today?

Bernardo looks like he's coming into form so that is hopefully not an issue, Sterling always poses problems - kind of concerned with our fullbacks though.

Pep wants to give them a sporting chance in midfield? Maybe Pep wants Bernardo to come inside, it's normally too congested with KDB and Silva both looking for space, but with just one of them he'd probably be able to do it. Other than that, I've got nothing.

What are people complaining about. Aguero’s absence explained. It’s just Kevin people are really fussing about. If Pep thinks his gas tank is running low who are we to disagree, especially after his lack lustre display last Wednesday. Let’s see how this plays out.

Come on City!!

Maureen will never have a better chance than today ever.

Serious question, does anyone think Pep would have done this in a Classico against Madrid under the same circumstances ?.

He's saying to the incoming players "You're not good enough for Tuesday's game and I don't care how you perform today, just so long as the stars don't get injured or tired." #motivationmethods
