Guardiola communicating with the bench.
Scousers charged again as well.

It's no coincidence UEFA and FIFA are feigning interest in VAR while doing their best to manufacture 'controversy' and make sure it gets publicised. VAR is a threat to their ability to influence matches (or rather their ability to sell influence behind the scenes to other parties).

Totally corrupt - no doubt - I believe what I see.
CL:
Appointing a ref that has stitched us up in the past?
Three officials fail to spot that Sane's goal was not offside?
And on it goes.
It is small margins at this level; That Sane decision changed everything.
At 1-0 - Pep loses the cool (understandably), city players despair when the ref gives you nothing, Liverpool given hope, etc...
At 2-0 - different game entirely. City players keep going, Pep on the sideline, everybody calm and focused, tails up, Liverpool nervous, etc...
PL:
Award the penalty against Young, red card him - different game, etc...
City have to be about 2 or 3 goals better than the opposition to win. That margin nullifies the bad calls.
Once it is close then the refs start weaving their black magic spells.
Just like last night and the Derby last Saturday.

Cheers mate, Pep's will probably be for telling the ref he was a cheating cunt whilst the Scousers will probably be done for laying wreaths and lighting candles in the ground.

It is possible to beat the system, We have done it this season but it means beating the team you are playing by beating them in a manner that can't be stopped.
The early sending off of Walker assisted Everton and we dropped 2 points. The allowing of a run of games where we suffered some horrendouds tackles didn't stop us but cost us player injuries.
Had Sterling converted his 2 chances in the derby, the 2 penalties and the sending off that were ignored wouldn't have hurt us. But it did and we lost.
The refereeing decisions over the two CL games cost us but had we converted our chances, we would have won through.
Referees can change games but they can be beaten as we have seen with City over this season.
It doesn't take away from the fact that, we have become too big for our boots and that is hurting their profits.
They did it to us after the 1904 Cup Final when we finished 2nd in the League. We lost ourentire team, management and administration because the the established clubs didn't like our resouces, proffessionalism and we were upsetting the football establishment.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

Bent as a nine-bob note. Whenever its close the refs are able to influence the games and when they're not they let them kick the shit out of us.

The arguments for it to be bent are very compelling.
But that shouldn't disguise or be used as an excuse.
If anyone thinks that the last 3 losses are 100% down to bent officiating. Well they were not there are other issues that are clear for all to see.

I don't think they are excuses. No matter how good you are, when the ref takes literally the ball from the net, you will fall.
No team managed to win against the refs in the history of football, even in the romance period and they will not start now.
We were poor lately, but
- a goal and a penalty at Klanfield at would had ended 3-1 or 3-2.
- a penalty and a red card vs filth and would had ended at least 3-3
- a valid goal against scouse and a penner and it would had been at least 2-0.
A very different point of you, isn't it?

Fixed or not, the one fact that's indisputable for me is that there has not been and will not be any enquiry, review or punishment for the match officials performance in matches where City have been cheated, whether it be FA refs or UEFA refs.
3 officials last night got the call on Sane's goal wrong. 3 of them. All with different viewing angles. All less than 20 yards away. Gross incompetence at the very least. If most of us did something similar in our jobs we'd be out the door.
I'm not a fan of VAR in match but if players can have retrospective action taken against them after a game, then so should refs. But they don't. So yeah, there is definitely an anti City agenda with the powers that be.

Buffon given a straight red for dissent. Is that even possible?

No but yes, Oliver got it completely wrong. Buffon is also the captain.
PS
Oliver's career as a ref is over. Make no mistake about that. He was awful the entire game tonight. To make such an incorrect call so late in extra time is disgraceful - or corrupt.
You cannot trust and rely on English referees they have no idea and to a man cannot play football themselves.

In all honesty mate, I can remember games from the 60s as though it was yesterday...but don't bother asking me what happened a couple of hours ago.

I don’t even see the point of debating it anymore. Should have gone in 3-2 at halftime. Liverpool were handicapped with the cards for the next round. It will be Bayern or Real this year maybe Barcelona Real or Bayern next year. It’s rigged.

92% believe it is rigged in some way, and 4 people don't. Interesting as I've only seen 1 post to say it isn't.
