Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Thought some may want to forget about the last week and look forward to a trip to Wembley! Strange time for a Saturday KO though, 1945 hrs. Looks like they're putting both our teams on a pedestal.
The last time we beat Spurs away was in 2015, and who can forget the 5-1 the previous season. Since then we've lost the last 2 away games, only scoring 1 goal to their 6. We did beat them convincingly in our last home game though, 4-1, but I don't want to see a repeat of those challenges from England's so called best!
Anybody worried or can we get back to winning ways in the league?

I'm in two minds as to whether i will bother watching this one, other than the fucking ridiculous KO time, the season has faltered to a damp squib. I hate feeeling like this, like a spoilt brat dare i say raggish like.
I'm sure come the day and the hour i will be tuned in and ready to go.
Lawro has us down for 1-1 which i find hard to argue with, if the players have an ounce of resolve or respect left in themselves Saturday should see goals in abundance for us so we can win the trophy at home the following week against Swansea.
I have a nagging feeling i will be using a well worn phrase of Typical City come Saturday night, i hope to God i am wrong........

It´s a serious poser question for me. When the wife watches crap on the box ( netflix or whatever) at this time on a saturday, after I have normally watched City. Usually the effects of a couple of Radebergers has kicked in and the snore fest starts.... Given that the Missus will complain if i stay awake again, I think i might just log into DAZN.com and watch the game in my office upstairs.

I have a feeling we'll turn them over when we're expected to fuck up! We need a win to restore our pride

They are perfect for us to get back on it. City have not become a crap side over a week or so. Shit happens.

I think we are going to be super angry in this one and might be something similar to Everton.
I don't see a huge problem with missing Fernie. I remember the Cup final when he went off and we looked better with Dave, KDb and Gundy.
My only problem is regarding the first two from above, who look really, really tired.
1-1 or 1-3

Not a good feeling about this fourth big game in a row. Am minded of a few years ago after hard games v Arsenal and Schalke we played the rags at home and lost. In fact we went down with a whimper. I watched Ireland chasing for a ball that he should have got to but was outpaced and noted it happening all over the place....we just didn't seem to have the legs to quite compete.
The two CL games and the derby were hard energetic games and in the last two we seemed to slow in the 2nd half. Energy levels?
This will be another hard game, Spurs will give us no rest and there is a danger we might agin falter in the 2nd half.
Our big problem over the last couple of years has been our chances to goals ratio, somewhat masked because we create so many chances that lets us score plenty of goals. In the last two games, that has bit us on the bum. We should have been well out of sight in both games but 1-0 and 2-0 HT leads weren't enough.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

Is it really 12 years ago under Pearce we last lost 4 in a row? Can't see us coming out of this game with anything.

Pep says Aguero out. He was injured before the Liverpool game but made ‘a huge effort’ to help us. Stones not ready, Mendy same. Fernandinho suspended. Just 13-14 plus the kids fit says Pep.

I fancy us for this. Seven days off after this until the Swansea game a week a Sunday. Just one last push, lads, and we can turn these fuckers over. Wembley has generally been a good ground for us over the last few years.
My only issue is the officials.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

I'm just worried about our fitness. 4 huge games in the space of 10 days takes its toll, especially with the circumstances of the last 3.
Officials!

I think this is gonna be the big test. I foresee the same lineup again but Gundogan for Fernandinho and a left back in for Sane/Bernardo

Got a good feeling about this one. First half against both the rags and dippers we battered them. Can see something similar and the boys will be hurting after the last week. Reckon we will punish Spurs and win by three or four
