Well i'm going to acknowledge what he brought to the premier league - Arsenal were a team i liked watching in the top flight under wenger and his achievements cannot be understated.

Arsenal fans became frustrated when he kept trying to bring players in and turning them into superstars instead of using the money available to buy the superstar. Wenger wanted to prove himself to the world and fans saw this as putting his own interests before that of the club. That and him not brining in leaders to replace the likes of adams and Vieira slowly led to Arsenal losing their grip on top 2 which became top 4 and now top 6. The fact that winning an FA Cup last season didnt resinate with the fans shows just how important the premier league is.

Do i wish him well? Not really. Do i thank him for what he brought to the table in the past? Most certainly.

Had he left while still a football manager I would have agreed with you. But he became an embittered, spiteful, pontificating little prick while helping his club’s owners pocket hundreds of millions, and maybe a few bob himself, from gullible fans and providing shit value for money, so he can fuck off.

As for his comments about Sterling, see Monreal’s atrociously bad dive at Wembley.

Which is incidentally more than Wenger fucking did.

If arsenal werent around the rags would have been more dominant.

There were tens of thousands of Arsenal fans staying away from games in a bid to oust Wenger. It worked. The crowd returned against West Ham following the announcement but even then he didn't get much of a reception. Its not surprising that other fans have no time for Wenger if his own fans don't.

One thing he never managed to solve was that his players got constantly injured. He must have realized that his training methods had to change if his players got injured regularly. That probably cost Arsenal a few serious bids on the title.
