Best news I've heard since winning the league. So happy for Big Dave.

Will he be going to the world cup?
Would be great from a selfish perspective for City if he wanted the summer off with his boy......

Dave's son comes home. Fabulous news for him and his family
Again - much like the beginning of this affair - it would have been good to know he was still under hospital care. I had no idea. My missus tells me premature babies can have all manner of health problems so that kept me onside, but some more info wouldn't have hurt.

I'm very much the opposite mate as it was a personal matter for him and all to respect his wishes.

I can understand his wishes for privacy. Difficult time and you don’t want annoying questions.

I think that's it mate, it's absolutely heart breaking for those who go through it which most of us cannot fathom. You'll always worry but at least when they're through the worst you can actually look ahead instead of looking for any shard of hope to cling to.

My twins didn't make it beefy that's why privacy is paramount just in case the worst happens.

Bloody hell, apologies mate, didn't realise but very pertinent. I'm a godfather for a little'en who I visited every day and it was really heart wrenching. I see that lad as my own and to go what you went through must've been agonising.
Never forgotten.

Brought his lad, Matteo, out onto the pitch today
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45240428Love Mendy’s tweet after the game. I imagine something like this really gels the team and the team spirit must be off the charts.

He set the tone today, lead by example.
That was a peach of a free kick, worth the wait.

His first City goal from a free kick. What an absolute peach!

Definitely. Certainly in my lifetime, I haven't and probably never will see a better player.
