Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Apparently something appeared on the OS as a “goodbye and thank you” from Patrick as he is off to manage Nice, France
It’s been subsequently deleted but it appears to be the case - got get ‘em Paddy V!

Good luck.
Fantastic player and overall good guy.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I met him once when he took city youth team to ireland, he was an arsehole.
Dont really have any connection with him, never considered him a city guy due to his arsenal background.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't have any affinity towards him myself, but nothing against him at the same time.
Later Paddy.

Phenomenal player for Arsenal but was past it by the time he joined us.
His best contribution as a player was when he came on against Spurs in the match where we beat them to clinch a CL spot. We were winning but were on the ropes for a while in the second half. He came on and took control of the game which helped us to secure the win.
I’m glad he’s come back to Europe to manage. Will give us a better indication if he’s a serious contender to replace Pep in a few years.

There seems to be a good few believing that he can replace pep. Why is this? What has he done to merit such a status.

I don't know if he's good enough to replace Pep or not, but considering our CEO and Director of Football came from Barcelona where they often promote managers from within and the fact we've kept Vieira within the group since he retired from playing, it seems logical that we would be considering him as a possible manager for us further down the line.
I don't think being a success at NYCFC would really be a good enough indicator if he can make it in the Premier League, but managing Nice in a league dominated by PSG would give us a better idea.

Domenec Torrent has left Pep's staff to take over at NYCFC.

Maybe Mikel Arteta will step up at this stage? And time to bring Pab Zab on board as part of "The Management"
