Just saw it. Apparently Spain head of FA was pissed because he wasn't being made aware of the discussions. Why would he. If you tell some fatso FA chairman you might just as well put out press release.

with the spanish fa on this one

Well their team doesn't seem to be with Dave Silva & co asking to let him stay.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Bit of a mess for the Spanish. This other lad they have now will make a total balls of it, adds a bit of extra interest to their game with Portugal..
Hopefully an early exit and a rest for Dave.

I honestly can’t get excited about this competition. Besides Spain v Portugal it’s difficult to pick a fixture from the first round of games that I’d even bother watching.

I concur. And Spain sacking the manager make a the game a little more interesting.

Sounds like the home nations are considering a bid for the 2030 world cup.

Was it 'Clear and Obvious'? ITV and Clattenburg just shrugged it off. I was just waiting for the 'On the edge of offside' bollox from RatBoy but then they said 'Over to Giggsy', at which point the TV went blank. It must be a natural reaction because I didn't even realise I had the remote in my hand!
