Starting a post with "oh dear, oh dear" is patronising.
And still you're not reading what I'm writing. I'm not advocating using Hawkeye technology. I only referenced it and tennis because it's used on a appeal basis, which is what I'd like to see in football (and before you start saying that tennis is different than football and that it's easier to employ an appeal system in a sport with natural breaks and a shitloads of points – I'm obviously aware of that).
Already today the ref can get called back by the VAR refs to review his decision. This could also be done by either manager having a button they could push or by them waiving a flag or whatever (like in American football).
Please read the ideas from this article and use a little bit of imagination before shooting down my suggestions before actually trying to understand what I'm actually saying: http://www.espn.co.uk/football/blog/fif ... tennis-nfl
I'm not advocating all of the ideas, in the article, but they show that VAR can be improved in a lot of ways and that appeal system is one of those.
