Bobby Duncan leaving?

Bobby Duncan leaving?

Postby Dimples » Wed Jun 27, 2018 8:48 am

Bobby Duncan (17), Steven Gerrard's cousin seemingly wants to leave and is on his way to Liverpool.
On the face of it and knowing absolutely no details - it looks like we have been used.
We develop and nurture him and then bails out to a club close to his heart (presumably).

Is he a big loss to us and a massive plus for Liverpool?

Old news really. Wasn't long after the start of last season that he refused to sign a new contract and from that point on he was put on gardening leave. His only games coming for the England team.

Whether he has talent or not, if he doesn't want to train and learn under Pep, we're better off without him.

The next Ade Mike?

Despite all the hysteria by some I've seen one player since the takeover who looks good enough to get in the side - Foden. Out of what? 500

Put another way - he can fuck off!

sounds like he's from the 1950s
if was good enough for us, he'd have been given some assurances regarding 1st team opportunities....
doubt we'll ever hear from him again.

He left as the dippers offered a bigger contract. Simple as that, just like Milner.

So, they tapped him up.

Tut, tut. That sort of thing doesn't go on at the dippers.

He is a loss, massive talent and one of our best youth players. Was always a risk he would go to Liverpool as soon as Gerrard was looking after the u18s, but when he hoped sticks to Glasgow, I thought he might change his mind.

This kid will have a future in the game, it's up to him how high up the ranks he goes, but he is a good player.

I would warrant a guess that most around the club have alloys. Would you not agree?

Presumably by not taking on the sons of famous players from their rivals past - let another club spend their money on youth training

We've done it with a lot of former players - taken on their kids and developed them only for them to shit on us when leaving. Was it Cole's son that blamed being black or English as a reason for not making our first team?
