On recent holiday in Gdansk I happened on this interesting article on football legend kaz deyna , remember us signing him towards the end of his career . Think big mal was manager at the time and that another polish defender was also signed ?

I'm pretty sure Tony book signed Deyna ; Mal came back a few months later

I think one pundit said of Deyna in a City shirt something along the lines of... "Deyna is tuned to Radio 4, whilst his teammates are stuck on Radio Luxembourg". We were not equipped at the time to accommodate such a talent, or his baggage.
