Oliver fucked Palace with 2 decisions just before the SOFT penalty
Watching replay it was soft. Stupid though.

One of the softest penalties you’ll see all season right on half time. Luck?
These scumbags wrote the book on it
Wtf happened?
Salah and Sakhalin came together in the box. Sakho made contact with Salah who predictably went down in stages. Yes there was contact but for me nowhere near enough to warrant a penalty. An away side at a top 4 club would never get given that

Penalty score two games in:
Rags: 2
Dippers: 1
Us: 0 (how much time do we spend in opps box compared to those two)
nothing to see here - move on quickly please (Sky will)

My bugbear.
Not just because it’s Liverpool.
The fact that their feet might have touched doesn’t constitute a tackle or a foul. I don’t know when that crap started but Sakho had Salah make contact with his standing foot and Salah theatrically hits the deck.
It’s what’s given these days but it’s not right. Oliver couldn’t wait to give it.

Not dissimilar to the penalty that Everton got at the dippers last winter in that it was a coming together rather than an outright foul. And Klopp after the game IIRC when asked about it laughed at the reporter after for suggesting it was the right decision and refused to continue the interview. Obviously he will suggest the same tonight

Palace are still troubling Liverpool but can’t help feeling they’ll be caught on the break.

Red card for Palace. Clumsy and again Salah made the most of it but it was last man giving the referee no real choice
