We can replace Raheem. Someone needs to tell him that, he isn't De Bruyne (irreplaceable).

Technically they are all replaceable even KDB (as we are having to find out). I think Sterling offers something special, something that neither Mahrez or Sane currently are showing and therefore IMHO it would be a big mistake to allow him to go. I agree though clearly his agent is winding things up to get the new contract through - expect comments next about how much Real are willing to offer him etc etc

My point isn't that we can't put someone on the pitch instead of De Bruyne, it's that replacing him in terms of what he does on a pitch is impossible. This is not the case with Sterling.

unsurprisingly, im not a big Sterling fan and still doubt his talent and that he should be in a side with aspirations like City have.
but if we keep him i dont mind either; not itching for us to ditch him.

but i dont know anything about football so take that with a grain of salt.

If he were to be sold it would be best if that was done in January.
But who would we replace him with?

I would rather if it was just sorted out sooner rather than later and he stays.

Raheem and his agent can sit down with the club if they want to anytime, Pep pretty much said that. The question is how much is going to take. No need for smoke and mirrors this is 100% about £. Pep is going to be asked this at every presser now Real Madrid is a click frenzy.

Money talks players walk. We dangled a carrot when he was at scouse-ville here we are with a similar situation.

Who will replace Raza so easily? With him scoring multiple winners last season? If he's so easily replaceable why was it left on his shoulders every game we were fucked?

Answers on a postcard.

Woe betide you do anything wrong in the derby as the rest of your performance over the season doesn't count for shit then.

What did he do wrong in the Derby?

Not a deal. Except miss a number of really good chances to put the game to bed and smash the rags to win the title.

To be fair, you can’t take the glory of scoring last minute winners if you don’t take the shit when you miss them.

Sterling had a great season. And him and his advisers know this and are probably asking for more money than perhaps his status deserves. Can’t blame the lad in many ways

Also ran rings around them and was one of the biggest reasons we were 2-0 up in the first place but that is forgotten and Sterling cops the blame for the whole team shitting the bed and blowing a two goal lead.

Similar to the sitters KDB missed when we lost to Chelsea the season before. Funny no one mentions those. And one was pretty much an open net.

Fact is good players will have bad days. The stuff with Sterling is blown massively out of proportion. He'll miss two sitters and that means he misses "loads" of easy chances. Crazy.

Mase c'mon, He is at the club that broke the bank to get him. He has a coach that loves him as he makes him better, do you not think Raheem should be signed and sealed. I get you when you defend him, and fair play. But he is playing us. I have to say he is never going to be a KDB. Different gravy. As for the Derby, really!!!!!!!

You would imagine he would be chomping at the bit to sign a new contract.
Sure it's not about money after all.

Could you blame the lad if he just went abroad and forgot about England? He's taken an enormous amount of abuse over the last 5 years.
