The rest of it is bullshit and not worth getting your knickers in a twist for.

This latest thing about him being a shit defender is also bullshit, areas to improve for sure but nothing that a consistent run in the side couldn't sort out.

A consistent run in the side ? Sane and him have not worked out so to get him in a run of games ,who suffers as a consequence of that ?...

FYI - up to NOW ,hes been a shit fucking defender for us.... paint it however you want to paint it ,that's a fact.

Is it fuck, that's an opinion Carl.

It's a fact , Deschamps even highlights the flaws in his defensive abilities and we have all fuckign seen his defensive frailties when he has played for us, not to mention him being out of position !!! , something he has been guilty of playing for France.
Its nothing to do with getting a constant run of games IMO , it's just the way he plays. Why the fuck would we fuck up a winning formula just to accommodate him ? He should be used as an impact sub unless he proves us all wrong and suddenly becomes a good defender.

I don't dispute for a second that he has flaws defensively but the majority of that is positioning and decision making, the type of things that can be ironed out the more you play.

I'm not saying we should fuck up anything, I'm just disputing the opinion that he's shit defensively, he's similar to Walker in a lot of ways who's an example of an attacking fullback that has improved his all round game by learned behaviour through playing consistently.

Pep on why Sane was benched "We have six excellent strikers and not all of them can play. It is not about he is not playing because we are unhappy with his performance, it's because we have to choose and now Mendy is playing more wide. That is the reason why.

This is why we are ''fuckign up everything' as he is accomodating Mendy and sacrificing Sane.......its also not an opinion either...its a fact.

As for Walker....hes a far better defender , how many times has he caught up with an opposing player and won the ball ?

Anyway, he aint fuckign playing today so Im happy.

Mendy's good as a wingback if we happen to be playing three at the back - if not then we sacrifice too much to accommodate him (in my opinion).

That's the only option for him IMO.....in fact Deschamp is believed to be looking at this option due to being too vulnerable at the back when he plays there.

Good. As it should be. He took the piss and needs to be brought down a peg or two. Won’t do him any harm and if he sulks and if he takes his medicine the wrong way, then sell him

Wouldn’t be surprised if he was “injured” in the way players are “injured” during friendly International breaks.

That said, you are of course correct in your assessment of Sam Lee

Not sure about the first bit NB. He couldn't be late for treatment if he wasn't injured. Pep did say in his presser on Friday that Mendy would play when fit.

You could tell from the press-conference Pep wasn't happy with him. Ban him from going near Pogba would be the first option for me.

It could but who would pay Mendy's wages or any sort of a fee given his injury record. Hopefully things will settle down but if they don't we could be stuck with him like Mangala.

Storm in a teacup moment. Pep just bringing him down a peg or two and as quietly as possible and while he is recovering from an injury. I reckon Pep still loves him and can't wait to get him back fit and available. He's going nowhere
