Bernardo for me. Play him in the middle every game please. What a battler and so much skill.

I thought as a whole we gave the ball away more than ever but we didn’t concede. Special mention for Mendy who was obviously rusty with the ball but played a huge part in our clean sheet at anfield despite him not being able to defend according to most on here. He made a crucial interception to deny Salah.
Tracking back is overrated.

They mentioned it during the game but have we got our replacement when Dave retires? If he can learn from him for the next few years (Tony the tiger voice) that's great!!

He’s becoming a mirror image the way he drops the shoulder and loses the defender in the midfield.

Went for Bernard, thought he was top quality throughout and the only one who looked like creating any real chances.

Defence rock solid too. Can't wait for Kev to be back, he would have been the difference today in a game that ebbed and flowed and needed a spark of magic (penalty nightmare aside)

Good to see Laporte get such a big vote after his trevails at left back the weekend before. Personally thought Stones was a rock (bummm bummm).
