His goal scoring has never been in question. It's the other stuff that earnt him the nickname that I'm not going to dignify. That's the part of his game that's gone up a couple of notches.

I dunno, I was screaming at him to run at the near post for two seasons and he was doing that a lot, getting good value from it as well.

And it's Dzonkey, all because of his first touch, which at times still appears poor. Good nickname though, better than fucking SuperJaw, jesus what 3yo came up with that piece of shit?

Never decided which is worse that or Two's.

Horrible stuff :)

Love him.
He'll continue to mis-control the ball and fuck up the easiest of chances but at the same time he'll continue to score big goals at big times in big games!

He loves this club, glad we kept him.

Been playing well all season and finally got the goals he deserved yesterday.
Just looking at the way he took those goals, he seems so confident and assured and a great striker in his own right.
Long may it continue Edin.

Feel sorry that no one talks about Edin's goal against QPR. It's all about Aguero (which I understand), but without that Dzeko goal we'd have won 0.

Love to see this. Mercenaries, eh?

We really had some characters in the team, and Big Ed was one of them. A genuine old school poacher, scored when it was more needed.
In the winning title season in 2014, scored the winner at Everton, opened Palace and Opened the bus from Villa, maybe the most important games in the end of the season race.

Happy to see this. Old the best, Big Eddie, blue forever.

Selling him for £10m or so was a travesty.

So was the treatment by some fans. He earned a massive thanks Edin IMO.

Come on Hazy. Some fans didn't like him but he was never dug out or booed. Players have had worse.

Interesting take from Lescott on Dzeko

“He saw Sergio playing but didn’t realise that Sergio played well with Edin, but because he got more plaudits he felt they were not treating them the same.

“I was like ‘I know what you’re saying but it ain’t going to work like that at this moment in time’.

“We had a spine of the team, and if you played well with them, you would play every week.”

There's a link to the full interview Lescott did with Graham Hunter in the article.
