An accomplished away win in the CL as we have seen. Totally destroyed them and created chance after chance. Got a few games coming up with Spuds on Monday, Fulham on Thursday and Southampton on Sunday so understandably we coasted a bit second half.
Someone sooner or later is going to get a real hiding

Fantastic performance (the finishing needs working on, though). Chuffed to bits.

No doubt we could and should put away more than we do.
Amazingly though my impression so far is that it is costing us less points. I’m sure there’s someone on here that can prove/disprove that with s few stats.
Our defence looks a lot more solid.
It gives us breathing space when one cockup doesn’t derail us. It means we can keep at our game and the goals eventually come.
I don’t think our conversion rate is any worse than last season, not that that was all it could be. We’re just giving up less chances at our end.

PL 2018/19
Team Attempts Goals %Conversion
City..... 198.......26.......13.13%
Dippers.126.......16.......12.7%
Chavs....163.......20.......12.27%
Spuds....126.......16.......12.7%
Arse.......116.......22.......18.9%
Scum.....119.......15........12.6%
So despite appearing to miss too many chances, only Arse are converting a higher percentage. As I said elsewhere, we create enough to allow for the misses. And we appear tighter at the back this season. If we can convert as many as they do god help the rest!!! CTID

That opening day win Up the Arse looks more impressive by the week.

TalkSport had me on the end of my (car) seat tonight with all there talk about English teams not winning there, but then we hear the pundits purring at our play, and those 2 first half goals.
What a game, we look superb but without really being tested, which is testament to how good we are.
Pep looks happy, we look happy, I feel happy. Need to get behind every game we play, this could be our year

Oh, fuck me, I think McPointalot is now a City supporter, he's nearly in the 'We' camp as Dunney is.
